Nicotinomide is a precursor to NAD and so this nicotenomide which is generated by CD38 but by the sertuins by the PARPS normally gets recycled um in a two-step reaction all the way back to NAD. Now what's really interesting is if you block this it's called the salvage pathway for nicotinomide. If you block it within a few hours your NAD levels go down to zero. So the system Wow. heavily dependent on recycling.
