but it's just for most of us we're doing 45 minutes of jiu-jitsu or throwing a javelin like you you know I play basketball for two hours with zero carbs exactly like I I mean I eat some plant foods but it sounds like it you know you're pretty loca I'm very little carbon or I've done days where I just don't eat carbs and I'll play basketball and I I feel great and yes you even if you're doing like a four-hour marathon pace you don't even need carbs I mean you could do fat adaption it's just when you're burning through glycogen so fast that you need it if you're like an actual professional marathoner yes so I think that the takeaway here for me is I'm not against using carbs in the middle of long intense exercise yes if you're gonna deplete your glycogen but there's pretty good evidence that we can be fully ketogenic and fat adapted outside of exercise and then we're gonna have the same performance
