there are a lot of athletes eating junk food diets who are performing at a very high level and said how can nutrition be the biggest lever in health and disease if people can perform as the best in the world eating McDonald's and I kind of bristled at that and I thought that's that's just so myopic to say that because perhaps there's a short window of time in all of our lives between 18 and 24 when we can eat junk food and still perform at a high level but that is a very short small window and if we look across the spectrum of any athlete's career nutrition is absolutely going to affect that whether it's injury prevention injury recovery long term on Gemma T as an athlete or overall performance
