The crux of the matter is the danger of overgeneralization. Perhaps the more pertinent question we should be posing is: Are seed oils – the varied and multifaceted group that they are – truly the most accurate (or even just "useful") lens through which we can understand the pitfalls of modern diets? I'd argue not, especially when considering what is actually a multitude of factors working in concert, each playing a role in either supporting or undermining health.
