my LDL cholesterol was above 300 and my good friend Dave Feldman who I've had on the podcast has done some research with something he calls the lipid energy model I think there's a good amount of evidence to suggest that if you are keto or carnivore if you are limiting carbohydrates for many people their bodies will use the substrate found in LDL lipoprotein particle for energy which means that if you are limiting carbohydrates your LDL may be higher when I included carbohydrates in my diet again my LDL went down significantly from 350 to around 150
