rdas were not actually designed to to identify adequacy they were defined to identify inadequacy and it's a little subtle but what that means is if you're not meeting the RDAs put it the other way if you are meeting the RDAs it's very very likely that you're getting all the nutrients that you need you can't reverse it if you don't get the RDAs it just means you're a little bit less more likely so it's it's a spectrum where the RDA is trying to cover all your bases with a worst-case scenario
