i think that the um there there are plenty of omega-3s in the fat of large animals we know this i've done my omega-3 levels on a completely animal-based diet of exclusively ruminant animal fat with no fish in my diet and my ala was moderate my epa and my dha were pretty darn high
it's my belief that there's plenty of these omega-3 fatty acids in well-raised ruminant animal fat again the magical substance with stearic acid and all these other micronutrients so yet another reason that removing animal fats from the diet could be problematic unless you're getting some source of bioavailable omega-3s i don't think we need a ton of omega-3 and i do have concerns about over supplementation with omega-3 but certainly a moderate amount that's found that animal fats is probably really beneficial for humans
