I'm running a part of my book right now where I talk about the possibility that plant sterols are even more atherogenic or could contribute to inflammation I don't think we fully know at this point I don't know that neither either Nathan or I believe that cholesterol itself isn't atherogenic they're all but there is some evidence that plant sterols could be dangerous for humans and this would make sense to me because they're sterols that our body doesn't really want and hasn't seen there was this kind of misguided effort for a while to put plant sterols into butter and other margarine x' things like this to decrease LDL eggs and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me i don't think we want to be putting a whole lot of plant sterols in our body I've even heard Tom Dayspring say that they are atherogenic and I'm looking for the research on that
