one person might have a genetic predisposition to be very bad at getting certain nutrients from plant foods but some other people might have a very you know like for example a lot of people are very bad at getting vitamin A from plant foods because they can't convert carotenoids into retinol those people are not going to do that well in a vegan diet most likely but then there could be other people maybe there's predispositions to have a higher need for vitamin C anything that could predispose you to oxidative stress could raise your need for vitamin C and so maybe you're not going to do that well on a carnivore diet where you may get enough vitamin C to prevent scurvy but you may not get enough to optimize its for antioxidants that is for people who have high you know high oxidative burdens or something like that
