well pumpkin seeds contain a lot of zinc but is much of that bioavailable no because like most seeds and most plant seeds included in this including beans and nuts and Grains which are all plant seeds they're all planted in the ground they grow into plants they contain phytic acid a compound that is a large molecule that chelates these minerals and prevents their absorption into your body
The zinc in in pumpkin seeds is not very bioavailable because of the phytic acid. Many of the minerals in foods whether it's magnesium and almonds or zinc in oatmeal or pumpkin seeds are bound to phytic acid.
