the whole fiber bit got all screwed up by dennis burkett yes the english surgeon he was a he was a colon surgeon who went down to africa on missionary work to actually go operate on colon cancer and hemorrhoids and he couldn't find any hemorrhoids in colon cancer so he became obsessed by following these africans out into the field and he became obsessed with their giant mounds of poop and he said what the heck is this from we're not youtubers and obviously weren't spitting all the fiber because he said oh my gosh it's a fiber he went back to england england did not have a lot of soluble fiber but they had oodles of insoluble fiber in terms of grains so he equated insoluble fiber with soluble fiber and he's kind of my humble opinion the father of how people think that grain-based fiber which is really bad for you it's mostly insoluble fiber is the cure-all of everything
