Then we talked to other scientist, to other friends that didn't know about the gut microbiota, and they weren't doing these things. It really struck us that shouldn't be just the scientist studying this field that had the access to the information to make changes to lifestyle and diet and so that really prompted us to try to get this message out there and our first step in doing this has been writing a book called "The good gut taking control of your weight, your mood, and your long term health" and this is available on Amazon, and it goes over the science very broadly but it also attaches that science to practical advice. How we changed our lifestyle and how we think provides insight into how you can change what you're eating and what you're doing to positively impact you gut microbiota, and it even has short section of recipes, examples of how we feed our family.
