every single diet is a calorie restriction you need to move more and eat less
We can't find evidence that holds up here. Proponents are reasoning from mechanism or analogy rather than direct human data, and the most credible skeptics raise objections we can't dismiss.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
now every animal on the planet if you feed them and let's just call it what it is it's food restriction right because the average person walking the street doesn't understand the things and know the things that you and I know about food that there are some foods that are nutrient dense and there are other foods that are basically devoid of nutrients even though they taste delicious and they have lots of calories and carbohydrates they're really deficient in any kind of meaningful nutrition most people don't know that so they they try to limit all foods and so they wind up being chronically hungry and any animal that you you take you trap any animal in the wild put it in laboratory condition and you feed it a food restriction diet and it's either going to commit suicide or Escape because that is literal torture for a mammal to say stop eating before your food full that is that's that's that's Anarchy that's complete idiocy to tell a mammal stop eating before you're before your body tells you to stop eating
