well it at the individual level yeah yeah i mean i think it really hinges on how we define the term affluent because if you go to the very poorest people in the world there still is not a lot of obesity in those places places that are really challenged with food security where the diet is very limited like subsistence farmers in sub-saharan africa you're still going to see that there's a low prevalence of obesity in that pla in those places
