sugar is much more likely to cause obesity if you drink it rather than if you eat it and the reason for that is that when you drink a drink that has fructose in it we tend to drink a lot in a short period of time so if you have a soft drink you can drink not only does it have a lot of sugar but we tend to drink it fast and so the concentration of fructose turns out to be high when it gets to the liver and it's the concentration that triggers this reaction
