and I feel like this is why people are being told not to avoid to avoid saturated fat and to avoid fat especially when they have a belief or there's a lot of there's a lot of intellectual jumping here right yeah a lot of sort of a lot of leaps intellectual leaps that are not necessarily clear yeah and that's exactly what it is and it's when you when you see those associations so people with elevated total cholesterol LDL cholesterol particularly certainly a midlife it's easily more in later life that the associations don't hold up nearly as much than that's probably because like we talked about cholesterol services you're protective especially as we get older but in midlife there seems to be an association but you also have to remember like you go back to the fact that insulin sensitivity is a direct modulator of circulating cholesterol levels in people who are eating a mixed diet so your pcsk9 levels which modulate your LDL receptor LDL receptor function and number all of that is directly retired to tire to insulin sensitivity so if your instant resistant again you might see elevated cholesterol Falls but doesn't mean this to cholesterol that's direct that's directly damaging
