so the animal model for osteoarthritis is an ACL injury which is still true in humans but there are a few different models for us - arthritis and so really one of the things we've learned is that when you attempt to model disease there are lots of off-the-shelf models that people have built for things like osteoarthritis because they're making a painkiller so they do things like hurt the animals knee and then give it a painkiller how relevant is that to osteoarthritis in a human it's not
