and it actually you know turned out to be hugely important um not only for understanding respiration but uh for understanding uh the disease pellagra uh which um you know was only sort of solved after warburn made that discovery and someone thought you know let's give this chemical to people who suffer from this disease and see if it cures them and sure enough it did and it's one of the ironies of warburg's story that um he always wanted to make a great discovery and save lives and he actually did but he never even really recognized it or saw it that way
