it's possible that the antipsychotics are actually having their antipsychotic effect by at least in the short run delivering more fuel to those cells so that those cells can function more properly and if those cells are functioning more properly chemicals might be balint so now we're talking about neurons in the brain which may have baseline metabolic dysfunction disordered a glucose metabolism and in the short term if you can fix that then maybe that would improve the neurotransmitter balance
