“they all have a very long halflife so if you took a single finasteride 5 milligram dose it's generic so it costs nothing anyway yeah but if you took that it would hang around in your system for a week or two okay so so the idea that that you know the reason it was reformulated at 1 milligram versus 5 milligrams was for new patent new indication of course uh but you could take you I I haven't worked it out you could probably just take a single 5 milligram of finasteride once a week and that would be the same as 1 milligram of the other stuff every day it's it has a much longer halflife than anyone appreciates”
