carbohydrate you don't get enhanced muscle protein synthesis so carbohydrate is probably not triggering muscle protein synthesis it is worth mentioning the muscle protein synthesis measured in the lab like if you take a muscle upsie and you measure the amount of muscle protein synthesis or the amount that that pathway has been activated that doesn't necessarily translate to how like big and jacked you are eventually going to get so I think you know adequate protein reaching you know that some somewhere near a Luthi leucine threshold throughout the day the 24-hour period after going and lifting weights that's probably gonna be enough as long as you're in as long as you have adequate calories on board
