What's so exciting is it doesn't just increase lifespan I mean if that's all it did it wouldn't be that interesting because the US healthcare system is pretty good at increasing lifespan in the presence of deteriorating health we can torture you in the IC for years we can keep you alive for an extra year if your aorta ruptures if we're really willing to go all-in ECMO yeah yeah yeah but it's the increase in health span that comes with it or stated more accurately it's the reduction in the rate of health band decline that's because it's always going to decline you're never gonna be able to do it 91 you did it
