when i look at epidemiology like this regarding raw milk and its protective effect on allergies and asthma the first thing i think is well maybe it's being on the farm maybe more people on the farm are drinking raw milk and this is a type of healthy user bias but in the abstract they say they have control for this and that people who are not on farms also see a benefit associated with raw milk so i can't come up with a more compelling hypothesis for why raw milk is protective for humans than the fact that it is actually protected for humans because of the probiotics in the milk
