So for some research has reported that these risks are attenuated when the mothers actually take a fever reducing medicine like Tylenol. All of these associations between infection and fever exposure and autism may actually be contributing to the apparent correlation that we see between autism and autism risk. um given that acetaminophen is by far the safest option for reducing fever and pain relief during pregnancy because remember NSAIDs and opioids are category D.
