so we start off with if they can't even walk we apply this restriction to slow down muscle loss once they can maybe walk on a treadmill or walk very slowly but they can't lift weights we start to transition them to that phase where they're able to increase muscle size and strength just a little bit and if nothing else maintain what they have but then once they can transition to resistance exercise i think that's where they're going to see the biggest bang for their buck and then they can go to highland exercise if they if they choose
