studies looking at levels of linoleic acid in the blood are basically worthless because we don't know aldh2 polymorphisms you know aldehyde dehydrogenase these type of enzymatic systems that can convert linoleic acid to hne these can change and like you said Jeff if people have lower amounts of linoleic acid in the blood is it that they're breaking it down to hne you know at a higher rate and if they have higher amounts of linoleic acid in the blood are they breaking it down to H any less it's just not a good measure
