so it's never made sense to me why people think that they're reducing it is gonna make a big deal and if you listen to the podcast I did with near nadir Ali there was a trial that was done with both statins and pcsk9 inhibitors in which the LDL was reduced to extremely low levels at least in terms of milligrams per deciliter those patients had around 30 milligrams per deciliter of LDL and they still had significant levels of atherosclerosis even with that much LDL floating around so the idea that lowering LDL is the key to getting rid of atherosclerosis does not hold up to examination in my opinion
