I think there were women there that were at some point basically able to pick up their body weight I mean is that am I remembering that correctly like literally these women were deadlifting their body weight
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
old people are perfectly capable of learning how to do a deadlift in a squat you know it might be pretty ugly to start with but they get better and as they get stronger they get even better

We've done some work um with older adults. This is earlier in my career and they gained massive amounts of strength in 24 weeks. uh doing things like squat and bench press. I don't know if I'd necessarily have them do squat. We usually do a leg press, but absolutely you can start at any age.
