you know if you're a guy let's say you had a guy who was very consistent with resistance training and his and he was really really on it and let's say he gained 20 pounds of muscle in a year which by the way is a tremendous amount of muscle for a man to gain in a year but let's just say he was able to do that he gained 20 pounds of muscle and then let's say something happened i don't know he stopped working out and he lost all that muscle all 20 pounds over the course of two months or three months and then let's say he got back into exercise and decided to gain it back it took him a year to build that 20 pounds of muscle he gained it right back in a couple months
