Your hip flexors will cramp to the point that you fail just doing that. It's much harder than you think. Try this, guys. Put your leg out straight. Keep all of this as tight as you can and get your leg as high as you can. I can already feel it in my quad. Developing strength there. It's a game changer. That's hip flexor.
