in this study they're looking at three studies of healthy older men and women they did spectral analysis of eeg electroencephalographic data looking at brain waves they looked the effects of dietary boron in two of the three studies when low boron intake was compared to the high boron intake there was a significant with a p value of less than .05 increase in the proportion of low frequency activity and a decrease in the proportion of higher frequency activity
