if I continue doing phlebotomy and my shbg continues to come down as I get rid of excess iron then this may lend support for the hypothesis if that doesn't happen maybe these aren't connected at all
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
so I'll keep an eye on this but I think that's really interesting and obviously this isn't a perfect experiment there's no way I could blind myself but I do think that I feel better with less iron I feel better with probably a lower ferritin now and perhaps a Sex Drive is a little better for me with less ferritin though the testosterone has remained about the same
so this is November to March with basically weekly phlebotomy 50 to 60 cc's of blood led to a drop in the shpg probably between 69.5 and 50.2 with a ferritin that went down from 252 to 87.
