too much t3 can make you fat and bloated too in the state of inflammation
We can't find evidence that holds up here. Proponents are reasoning from mechanism or analogy rather than direct human data, and the most credible skeptics raise objections we can't dismiss.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
people think t3 is the energy hormone and the weight loss hormone so then they take more but then they're like i'm really tired i guess i need more t3 no you're actually exhausted because now you're hyper and this doesn't make sense to a lot of people people think hyperthyroidism is like you're hyper you have energy dude no i was hyperthyroid before too on too much t3 it makes you exhausted
the other mistake patients make is they know t3 is the fat burning hormone so they start taking it their metabolism gets better their energy is better so now they're like i'll just take more wrong we're goldilocks you're going to get hyper now you're going to get fat and bloated because of your appetite because of the way cortisol is affected and glucose that's not a winning game either
