well at that point because of the blood glucose situation and insulin resistance they are likely gonna have thyroid problems in that case perhaps they don't need thyroid hormone right away they just need to get that fix that happens too so that can cause thyroid issues so type 2 diabetes is a slippery slope into other things as well including hypothyroidism
