I do think it's interesting that humans probably don't need vitamin k1 or don't appear to and that perhaps vitamin k2 is the active form
because k1 which is only from plants is not associated with any reduction in cardiovascular risk but k2 is
so people will always get up in arms and get a little bit uh triggered when i say you can't get vitamin k2 from plant foods and they say what about natto and my response is you can't get the full spectrum of vitamin k2 from plant foods which is all of these different metaquinones
