there's actually a trade-off that if you're optimizing one physiological parameter it may come at the cost of the other physiological parameter that the training he did which we can sort of surmise must have been pretty good for increasing vo2 max because he got such a high one may have actually been bad for his economy not in the sense that his you know his legs were wobbling or he was had bad you know motion but at a metabolic level
