Alzheimer's disease begins in the brain decades before the first symptom and perhaps other dimensions - certainly Parkinson's disease which is the second most common neurodegenerative condition by the time you're diagnosed with Parkinson's disease half of the dopaminergic neurons in the substantia [ __ ] are already dead right so just like heart disease just like cancer I mean these conditions don't bubble up overnight you know where you show up at your neurologists office and whoops you've got you know alzheimers disease this is basically a lifelong cascade that ultimately will manifest as a disease for which there is no meaningful treatment
