on the cancer side I think that's really what frankly we're blood gives us the least insight you know until companies like Grail have fully functioning liquid biopsies where you're looking at I think rails probably looking mostly at RNA and DNA other companies have looked at circulating proteins but until these liquid biopsies are there we can't we don't really have much insight into it

so i close that chapter by saying look we kind of don't have a great sense of what your immediate certainly don't have any real sense of if you have cancer from a blood test i mean outside of some very kludgy biomarkers that are never really appropriate for screening
unfortunately we don't have a lot that we can glean from a standard blood test as it pertains to everything i just described outside of the metabolic piece
is there a path to this sci-fi world that i'm dreaming of we're using the blood alone we can actually start to develop a high enough sense of confidence that that patient does indeed have cancer but they might be three or four years away from it being clinically detectable i do think i am hopeful that we could get there
