the reason we do that is because we've learned that there in particularly older individuals there are mutations present in the leukocytes often that have been acquired through age through a process called clonal hematopoiesis so those mutations that are in the white blood cells also end up showing up in the plasma most of the time because the white blood cells die in the circulation and release their dna and that's part of the cell free dna so those you want to get rid of because we don't that's not coming from a lung cancer or breast cancer right
