i think i'm going to start making paul is the more you get into lipidology the more that you find that actually cholesterol esters aren't just the cargo that you find inside of these liver proteins you can almost argue that they're just as much the boat as the phospholipids that are part of the monolayer on the outside in other words your liver will not secrete cholesterol ester pore lipoproteins it needs those cholesterol esters to build the structure so that it can properly leave and carry those lipids around in the body so the cholesterol esters as well as the free cholesterol on the outside they're all constituent components you need to have for a lipoprotein
