if you stop brushing which is the primary cause that uh your gums get inflamed you stop flossing or you relapse you're gonna immediately if you floss you're gonna see some bleeding that's the initial stage of periodontal disease but it's highly modifiable if you have only gingivitis you can refer to health so if you keep going and you continue with the traits of the disease the ligament is going to get inflamed and they're going to be attached to the bacteria is going to come in and then that whole process of inflammation bacteria and deterioration of the ligaments that's why you form the pocket and that cumulative like uh harm to the periodontal culminates in bone loss
