and there have been mouse studies where they look at mice with normal LDL levels versus high LDL levels and they inject them with endotoxin in the mice with high LDL levels we'll survive much more and they've repeated this with things like Salmonella where the death rate was just astounding in yeah it was it was 5% mortality in the high LDL levels and then a hundred percent mortality in the normal levels in the mice in the mice it might have been the other way around but regardless it was not insignificant there was a real difference so that in the mice when they inoculated the mice with this infectious bacteria Salmonella the mice that had higher levels of LDL seemed to have much better survival much much much five versus a hundred five percent died versus one hundred percent died in the group with a regular or low LDL right
