your body uses cholesterol in the cell membranes to keep the cell membranes fluid so this is it's pretty fascinating when you think about every cell in your body has a lipid bilayer these are phospholipids and they're all moving and it's just it's almost like a trampoline park in your body just every single cell has a trampoline park and that this tension on those trampolines has to do with what you put in the membranes of those cells so if you put more cholesterol or less cholesterol it changes the fluidity of the membranes or if you put more saturated fats or less polyunsaturated fats or more saturated less you know what I mean
