The Animal-Based Nutrition Research Foundation (ABNRF) plans to conduct randomized controlled trials comparing animal-based diets, plant-based diets, and AHA diets for autoimmune conditions.

“I built a non-profit called the animal-based nutrition Research Foundation it's abnrf.org and we've got a study plan with Stefan Van Vleet at Utah State University who's actually done a lot of great research with Fred provenza talking about these polyphenols and meat that Ken was mentioning earlier so we're going to do some studies with animal-based diets in the future for autoimmune disease in particular”

“I've had this vision to do a pilot study with an animal-based diet and that that requires like another order of magnitude of funding for the gathering um for the for the nonprofit, excuse me. But, you know, I had talked to a researcher at Utah State University about doing a pilot study with a control group. So, this would be a randomized controlled trial with an animal-based diet, 30 to 60 days. Um maybe having autoimmune conditions as an endpoint and getting lots of biomarkers, but that study is expensive and so that's in the works.”
