If you're somebody who braille reads, you learn how to do this with your fingers. If you look at great piano players like Glenn Gould, they often times will turn their head to the side. You think about some of the great musicians like Stevie Wonder that were blind, right? He would look away because he had no reason to look at the keys, but oftentimes they'll orient an ear or one side of their head to the keys on the piano. As I mentioned before, people who are non-sighted have better pitch.
