if anyone's tried this you can run on concrete in bare feet with a forefoot strike try doing that with a heel strike and see what happens and then magnify that or you know extend that even if you're running on trails and you think dirt is softer than concrete or you put a cushy heel you know in your nike airs like that's going to fool your body into thinking you're running on something super soft but you're still like massively transferring the force from your ankle to your knee to your hip to your back it doesn't make any sense
