If you take growth hormone, you'll feel more vital, you'll gain muscle more easily, and recover from injury more easily. Guess what? You'll also age more quickly.
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
every patient I've prescribed it to and there hasn't been many maybe half a dozen over the last 10 years they all say I've never felt better which then helps me understand why this cottage industry of doctors out there exists who run longevity clinics prescribing growth hormone
i do have a couple of patients who have taken it uh usually other doctors were prescribing it or you know they came in under the care of somebody else and they all seem to claim they feel infinitely better on it
And I will say this to a person, every single one of them has said, "I feel so much better when I take growth hormone than when I do not."
