the proteobacteria is a phylum right of bacteria and that if if people have taken biology in high school they'll remember it's kingdom phylum class order family genus species i think i got that right and so when you're talking about a kingdom and then a phylum a phylum is a very large group so if proteobacteria are a separate phyla are then we according to this one are we then looking at like bacteroidetes actinobacteria and firmicutes or fermicutes these are all different phyla in the gut right
