when you're in the follicular phase your fat storage is lowered during this stage your metabolic rate stays about the same you have lower hunger I definitely have less cravings in the first half of my cycle you have less water retention and so a lot of women will notice like kind of like a bloated feeling or like they don't have much muscle definition and that's lowered during this phase and this is a great time to help grow your muscles for women
