Meaning sperm can live in the reproductive track for up to 5 days. Most will stay around for 2 days. That's why the two days before and the day of ovulation have a 20 to 30% chance of getting pregnant compared to a zero day the day after ovulation. 0%. It's a very defined fertile window.
